Sanya: 7 Nights on the Tropical Island of Hainan
About this trip
Sanya is located at the southern tip of Hainan Island — the southernmost and only tropical province of China, often called “China's Hawaii”. The sea here is warm all year round, and the beaches stretch across several bays, each with its own character.
Yalong Bay is considered the most prestigious — with clear water and large resort hotels; Dadonghai is closer to the city center and livelier, while Haitang Bay is the newest area with modern resort complexes and China's largest duty-free mall.
It's worth visiting the 108-meter statue of the Goddess Guanyin in Nanshan Cultural Park and Wuzhizhou Island for snorkeling. City-life lovers will enjoy the evening Sanya Bay promenade with seafood restaurants.
The best time to travel is year-round, thanks to the tropical climate. Flights from Tashkent are operated by charter flights.
