The best time to travel is from November to April. During this period it is dry, temperatures 20–25°C. From May to October it is hot, humid, and typhoons are possible. Peak season is December–February, when tourists escape the cold.
How Much Does a Holiday on Hainan Cost?
Prices on Hainan are pleasantly surprising: lunch in a cafe costs about 300 yuan per person. Hotels on the first line by the sea from 500 yuan per night, and 1 km from the shore from 100 yuan. The high-speed train from Haikou to Sanya is 108 yuan (second class).
How to Get to Hainan?
There are three international airports on the island: Haikou, Sanya, and Boao. There are no direct flights from Uzbekistan, but you can fly via Beijing or Shanghai, then a domestic flight. A visa is required for citizens of Uzbekistan. It is convenient to travel around the island by high-speed railway: from Haikou to Sanya 1.5 hours.
