Phu Quoc: 8 nights on the island of spices
About this trip
Phu Quoc is located in the Gulf of Thailand, closer to the shores of Cambodia than to mainland Vietnam. Tourists do not need a visa to enter the island — a visa-free regime of up to 30 days applies.
The island's resort area stretches along the western coast, where beaches are protected from waves and keep calm turquoise water all year round.
What to do besides the beach: the world's longest three-cable ropeway to Hon Thom Island with views of the archipelago, VinWonders amusement park and oceanarium, Duong Dong night market with street food and seafood, a tour of the factory of the famous Phu Quoc fish sauce nuoc mam, Bai Sao beach with white-pink sand in the south of the island.
The best time to travel is from November to March, in the dry season. The flight from Tashkent is operated by charter flights.
