By Onyx Tour · July 12, 2026

Nha Trang is an ideal destination for family and budget beach vacations. Here you'll find everything: long sandy beaches, warm sea, interesting sights, and affordable entertainment. We tell you about the main places worth seeing.

Beaches and Islands

Nha Trang Beach (Tran Phu) — the main city beach stretching 7 km. White sand, palm trees, sun loungers, and many cafes. Excellent for swimming and water sports.

Hon Mun Island — the first marine protected area of Vietnam in a bay recognized by UNESCO. Here you can go diving or snorkeling among coral reefs.

Doc Let Beach — a picturesque stretch of coast 60 km north of Nha Trang. Shallow turquoise water and few people — a great option for a relaxing getaway.

Temples and Pagodas

Po Nagar Towers — a complex of Hindu temples built by the Cham people from the 8th to 13th centuries. Four surviving towers stand on a hill above the Cai River.

Long Son Pagoda — a Buddhist temple known for its 24-meter white Buddha statue atop a hill. From above, you get a panoramic view of the city.

Family Fun

VinWonders Nha Trang — a large amusement park on Hon Tre Island. Accessible via the longest cable car in Southeast Asia. The park features rides, a water park, an aquarium, and a golf course.

Night Market — a lively spot near the beach selling local street food, souvenirs, and seafood. Ideal for an evening stroll with a budget dinner.

Mud Baths and Hot Springs

Mineral mud baths and hot springs are one of Nha Trang's hallmarks. Popular complexes: I-Resort and 100 Eggs Mud Bath. These treatments are said to be beneficial for skin and health.
