Best time to visit

The best time to visit Tuzla is from April to October. In July and August, the salt lakes are most comfortable for swimming. During the off-season, there are fewer tourists, and winter is suitable for a quiet exploration of the city.

Getting there

Tuzla International Airport (TZL) is 15 km from the center. A taxi to the city costs about 30 BAM (€15). Alternatively, you can walk 20 minutes to the Dubrave Gornje stop and take bus No. 11 (4 BAM, 25–30 minutes to the center). Intercity buses connect Tuzla with Belgrade, Sarajevo, and other cities.
