About this trip
On a sightseeing tour of Istanbul, you will see the Sultanahmet Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque. It is the largest mosque of the 17th century and one of the first multi-minaret mosques in the world. You will also visit the Suleymaniye Mosque, the tombs of Suleiman the Magnificent and Hurrem Sultan.
You will visit Topkapi Palace, the palace of the Ottoman sultans from which they ruled the empire and made decisions that determined the fate of the world for 400 years. You will also visit the central square of Istanbul - the place where the Roman Hippodrome once stood, which was second in size only to the one in Rome. The central barrier of the hippodrome was once adorned with the most remarkable monuments from around the world, and you will have the opportunity to see these attractions: the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpent Column, and the Column of Constantine. And of course, you will have the chance to cruise the Bosphorus and admire the beauty of Istanbul from the sea.
